We’re thrilled to be kicking off the new year with four nights of explosive West African-inspired flavours from the super talented William Chilila, executive chef of The Future Plate.
Will blew us away in the summer of 2021 with a popping menu celebrating his unique Zambian, South African, Ghanaian and British heritage. Big on flavour and at times exhilaratingly spiced, Will’s dishes are rooted in tradition, while their precision and elegance speaks of his Michelin background.
Will’s last Carousel appearance was the closing night of our ‘Made You Look’ series shining a light on some of the industry’s most talented black chefs. Created by photographer Julian George, the series was the inspiration for The Future Plate, an exciting new culinary project showcasing the very best of African and Caribbean gastronomy.
Playful, gregarious and instantly likeable. Will’s menus are a joyous extension of his infectious personality.
