Voted one of the top three restaurants in India by Condé Nast Traveller, The Bombay Canteen is, quite literally, the bomb.
Housed in an old-style Mumbai bungalow in Kamala Mills, the restaurant was born out of the desire to showcase the country’s rich and diverse culinary traditions through a menu that moves with the seasons.
Telling the oft-untold story of regional Indian food, chefs Thomas Zacharias (ex-Le Bernardin, NYC) and Floyd Cardoz (ex-Tabla, NYC) have put together a riotous celebration of the country’s vibrant panoply of flavour. Instant classics like ‘Eggs Kejriwal’ and ‘Chettinad Prawns Ali-Yolio’ are interspersed with innovative twists on old favourites like ‘Goan Pulled Pork Vindaloo Tacos’, all made with ingredients rigorously sourced from small scale farms in the Maharashtra region.
A recent addition to the 50 Best ‘Discovery’ list, The Bombay Canteen is now set to take London by storm when the team joins us for five epic nights.
