Joining the dots between Hong Kong and Vietnam comes a new Asian-influenced opening from the clever people behind Dalston’s Parched and Dan’s. Introducing Tempo, by Eric Wan, whose bold, original flavours come together perfectly in dishes like ‘Prawn Toast, Lime Leaf, Daikon’; ‘Wild Bass, Banana Leaf, Green Chilli’; and ‘Vietnamese Coffee Granita, Salted Cream, Buckwheat’.
An extended private hire means we’re only open for two nights next week. Here for a good time, not a long time, is rising star Eric Wan (ex-Dinner by Heston**), with an exclusive preview of his upcoming East London opening, Tempo.
Available next Friday and Saturday only, Eric’s menu brings together his Cantonese-Vietnamese heritage in imaginative, flavour-forward dishes like ‘Chalk Stream Trout, Nước Mắm, Shiso’; ‘Grilled Chicken, Lemongrass Sa tế, Sweet basil’ and ‘Whipped Tofu, Braised Aubergine, Wonton Crisp’.
