Max La Manna is an award-winning chef, author and presenter.

Growing up in his father’s restaurants in Connecticut, Max started cooking at fifteen, before pursuing a modelling and acting career between NYC and LA. When not in front of the camera, Max worked late nights cooking in some of those cities’ most popular restaurants.

Now based in the UK with his wife and their 32 houseplants, Max has electrified social media with his easy-going and delicious plant-based meals that bridge the gap between vegan food and waste-free cooking. With over 1 million followers (and counting), Max’s original and inventive recipes have been featured in The Sunday Times, Vogue and Vice, and on the BBC and the Food Network.

On the menu for Max’s week with us? Nailed on crowd pleasers like ‘Salted Tomatoes with Whipped Tofu & Garlicky Crumble’; ‘Grilled Courgette and Miso ‘Almond Ricotta’ Involtini’; and ‘Cinnamon and Chocolate Churros’, matched with ‘wayward’ wines from the Wasted Wine Club.
