Carousel is back on tour… After spreading the love in Barcelona, New York, Copenhagen and Tulum over the past twelve months, this time we’re off to Tokyo, where Ollie and Mark will be collaborating with bossman legend Yuji Tani of HOUSE in Minato-ku.
Together our intrepid culinary ambassadors will create a unique, one-off menu that’s jam packed with intriguing flavours and seasonal ingredients delivered daily from Yuji’s little black book of small-scale producers from around Japan.
Yuji himself is making the journey from New York, where he’s been busying himself with the launch of HOUSE Brooklyn. Yuji’s deceptively simple and impossibly beautiful French-Japanese dishes complement our own style perfectly, so lucky Tokyoites can expect mesmerising creations like ‘grilled pork, braised daikon and mustard greens with tonkotsu broth’ and ‘smoked maitake fazzoletto and cheddar’ (that’s us) plus ‘wagyu beef heart, sake and burdock’ and ‘New England cauliflower chowder (that’s Yuji) on this awesome six-hands menu.
