{PAIRED} returns with another white-hot collaboration.

Our first show of the year brings together culinary virtuoso John Javier alongside a rare DJ set from Kai Campos of pioneering electronic music group, Mount Kimbie. As always, we begin with a multi-course, multi-sensory experience shaped by John and Kai, before we clear the tables and Kai delivers a finely tuned set for the dancefloor.

John Javier is the rockstar chef behind some of the most exciting food found in London, for {PAIRED} he’s leaning into his deep bag of Cantonese tricks, blending regional Chinese influences with contemporary technique and playful contrasts, delivering more of the flavours that made his critically-acclaimed Sydney restaurant MASTER such a nailed-on hit and showing us exactly why his current stint at West London’s, Caia, is regarded with a cult-like following from those in the know.

Think knockouts like ’Steamed Clams with Glass Noodles and XO Sauce’, ‘Dragon Phoenix Soup’ and ‘Peking Style Pork Jowl, Pancakes and Condiments’ hitting the table while Kai explores more of the boundary-pushing sounds that have earned Mount Kimbie icon-status within the UK’s electronic music scene.

With {PAIRED} landing on the same day as England’s final group stage game, we’ve decided to bring things forward so you can enjoy the perfect summer’s evening of Food x Music x World Cup.
