Multi-talented chef, writer and previous co-founder of critically-acclaimed Caribbean rum and roti hotspot Island Social Club, Marie Mitchell joins us in No. 23 with a two-night taste of the Caribbean coast.
Marie’s tasting menu showcases her signature style of authentic, considered Caribbean cooking and includes favourites from her upcoming debut cookbook Kin: Caribbean Recipes for the Modern Kitchen, a collection of recipes from the Caribbean and its diaspora that celebrates the powerful connection between food and families, culture, places and people around the world.
Expect fiery pepper prawns with pickled spring onions and Jamaican hard dough bread sticks; battered hake buns with spiced ketchup; and scotch bonnet-salted plantain crisps with avocado & tomato salsa.
