King is New York restaurant royalty. Simple, elegant and effortlessly brilliant, it’s a timeless gem that deserves every bit of its continuing success. As the Michelin guide put it, “it’s an art form to make delicious food look this easy”.

King offers a daily-changing menu of ‘simple’, seasonal food with influences from Southern France and Italy. Oozing with understated excellence, dishes like their ‘hand cut ravioli with quince and warm walnuts’ and ‘onglet chargrilled over thyme branches with watercress and anchovy butter’ are paired with an equally epic list of carefully chosen wines. 
We’re hyped to be bringing King to Charlotte Street next month, when co-owner and chef Jess Shadbolt and executive chef Angeles Chavarria will be joining us in the kitchen for five nights. Meanwhile, fellow co-owner and beverage director Annie Shi will be out on the floor pouring some suitably excellent wines to match.
If you can’t make it, be sure to book King – and new sister restaurant Jupiter, which opened in the iconic Rockefeller Center last year – on your next visit to NYC.
