Born out of a craving for the flavours of home, Sunny Wu set up Hainan House as a way to showcase the Southern Chinese cooking that she grew up eating.
Following the sell-out success of their debut pop-up celebrating the Lunar New Year, Sunny and chef Irene have been busy working on a killer line-up of thoughtfully reimagined Hainanese classics for her next event with us at No. 23.
The pair join us for three nights with an à la carte menu of creative Hainanese dishes designed for sharing, including ‘Lucky Prawn Roll’; ‘Classic Hun Rice Noodle with Beef Jerky’; and ‘Hainan-style Poached Poussin’.
