Opened in December 2022, Goldfinch is the perennially packed out brainchild of acclaimed Aussie chef, Will King-Smith, former assistant head chef at Geranium and sous-chef at Mielcke & Hurtigkarl.
The kitchen is Will’s take on the ‘social’ Cantonese food he grew up with in Australia. In his own words, “Goldfinch is championing a dynamic tour of high-quality, ethically sourced Chinese food in the comfort of your own backyard.”
Highlights include ‘Scallop toast with sesame & coriander chilli oil’ (with an optional dollop of Antonius Baerii caviar); ‘Shrimp & pork wontons, sweetened bean paste’; ‘Bao, boudin noir, sweetened soy’; and ‘Pork char siu’ with all the trimmings.
Due to the nature of this menu, we are unable to cater to coeliac dietaries.
