Our main man from Mexico City returns showcasing some of the electric flavours that have made Mesa Nomada one of the Mexican capital’s hottest culinary exports.

Emme’s life-long passion for cooking has taken him all over the world, from South America to South East Asia via Scandinavia, but it’s the traditional flavours of Mexico that continue to inspire him each day. His dynamic ‘Mesa Nomada’ project has been making waves in Mexico for a while now, back to when he was invited to be part of René Redzepi’s NOMA pop-up in Tulum, but more recently it’s at Taverna, on Calle General Prim, where Emme’s unwavering commitment to simplicity, freshness and provenance have been hitting the high notes.

Featuring the likes of ‘esquites with guajillo aioli, queso fresco and lime zest’, Emme’s first residency with us sold out in minutes, so don’t hang about if you want to guarantee yourself a seat. Best enjoyed with mezcal.
