Close Ties

Fusing their passion for wine, food and music, good friends Joshua Bratt (GM, Carousel) and Jake Norman (GM, Trullo) have been running pop-ups as Close Ties since 2021.

The pair bring together some of the best chefs in the city to cook alongside them whilst keeping the energy high and the drinks flowing. This time around they’re teaming up with Diarmuid Goodwin (Sager + Wilde, Murano) who’ll be knocking up some incredible plates to help soak up (several) glasses of undiscovered gems of the natural wine world.

DJ’s are an integral part of the experience – the boys always look to curate a ‘wine rave’ vibe where getting loose on the dancefloor is as important as eating delicious bites and drinking homebrewed cocktails and wild wines. Popular with friends, industry and strangers alike, this wine bar takeover is going to be something completely different from what we’ve seen before.

It’s £5 on the door for what looks set to be a shutout, so arrive early to avoid disappointment…
