How do you make the ‘best Butter Chicken in the world’? Easy. You invite Saransh Goila over from Mumbai and get him to teach you…
Our main man Saransh Goila is making the trip over from Mumbai to sprinkle a bit of ‘sadak chef’ magic on the Goila Butter Chicken residency at no. 23. While he’s here, he will be lifting the lid on the secret to his famous butter chicken, dubbed “the best in the world” (and not just by his mum).
During this two hour workshop, you’ll find out what goes into GBC’s signature marinade, before mastering the art of smoking butter over charcoal (the key to achieving that unmistakable Goila Butter Chicken flavour). You’ll also make Saransh’s ruby red sirke wale pyaaz – AKA the pickle of dreams – and his coriander chutney, laced with green chillies to add that unmistakable kick to the zing.
After the hard work is over, you’ll get the chance to break bread with your fellow classmates, tucking into a fabulous Indian lunch prepared by Saransh and the team.
There are two sessions to choose from: 11am – 2pm (with lunch at 1pm) & 1pm – 4pm (with lunch at 1pm)
