Looking for someone with experience in event operations to join our growing dynamic team. The events operation manager will be responsible for managing a team of coordinators, ensuring all events are being delivered to the highest standard and will be key in shaping operational processes.

Located in the heart of Marylebone, Carousel is an award-winning restaurant, venue and creative hub totalling over 6,000 sq. ft of event space. Since launching in August 2014 we’ve partnered up with a wide-ranging portfolio of clients, offering stylish surroundings, restaurant-quality food and creative in-house production to cutting edge brands such as Instagram, Converse, Facebook, Nike, M&S, Mr Porter, NFL, The Guardian and Google.

The Event's Operation Manager will work into the Head of Operations and will be responsible for overseeing the bigger picture of events at Carousel, managing and recruiting a growing team of Events Coordinators, developing event processes and the main link between departments.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing the Event Coordinators
• Recruiting and training Front of House staff
• Developing and improving the events process and developing the overall strategy for the year
• Monthly reporting on event performance KPIS
• Overseeing all events taking place at Carousel and making sure they are running as efficiently and effectively as they can and that all
elements have been considered
• Heading up the communication between Event Coordinators, Kitchen team and Front of House team

We’re looking for someone with previous experience of managing an events team in a similar industry, who will thrive in our fun and friendly but busy environment. You need to be confident, organised, with strong leadership skills who will inspire an ever-growing team and form part of a wider, entrepreneurial management team. The role is all about being methodical and organised in your approach to work with a good attention to detail but a friendly personality with a good sense of humour is also key. And last but not least we need someone who shares our ambition to be the best in the business.
