Housed in the rustic interiors of a traditional Juarez hacienda, Taverna offers a masterclass in live fire Mediterranean cuisine from two emerging stars: Emme Prieto and Chris Domit.
With a shared background working in some of the world’s best restaurants (Blue Hill at Stone Barns, Noma, Nahm), Emme and Chris execute meticulous menus in effortless synergy. Using only the finest ingredients from Mexico’s land and sea, the duo season each dish to perfection with fire and smoke. Think ‘Beef Tartare, Shiitake & Smoked Oyster, Fried Tapioca’; ‘Lamb & Aubergine Stuffed Onions, Aromatic Jus’; and ‘Grilled Octopus, Potato Rosti, Caper & Olive Aioli, Pepper Sofrito, Samphire’.
No stranger to a Charlotte Street residency, Emme joins us for the third time. But rather than esquites and tamales, this time the focus is on Taverna classics. Power couple Chris and Emme are here to set the place alight. Sparks will fly.
