You may be familiar with Jitin’s aristocratic reimaginings of familiar Indian flavours from his hyper-successful stretch at the helm of Gymkhana in Mayfair, a perennial shoo-in for best Indian restaurant in London. But Jitin has been working in garlanded kitchens the world over for nigh on twenty-five years, alongside the likes of Éric Chavot, Jason Atherton and Atul Kochhar, with his most recent role as the lead chef for 2022’s Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. 

Returning to Carousel for a second time after a sell-out fortnight last summer, Jitin joins us for five special nights. His menu this time features more mind-blowing creations like ‘Chicken Tikka Pâté’; Venison Kofta, Puy Lentils, Bacon Tarka’; and ‘Ras Baba Gulla, Green Cardamom Cream’, that are at once comforting and familiar, artfully spiced and technically immaculate.
