Loosely translated as ‘here for a good time, not a long time…’, Passager is just the kind of unmitigated epicness we all need in our lives right now.

Alex Dilling’s love letter to the humble French bistro marks a hotly anticipated return to the kitchen for the culinary superstar, following the sad closure of The Greenhouse earlier in the year. Taking control of the kitchen at the Mayfair institution in August 2018, Alex swiftly gained two Michelin stars with an extraordinary menu that became a byword for meticulousness, precision and luxury. Exactly what you’d expect from a chef who’s worked under, and alongside, the likes of Alain Ducasse, Didier Elena and Hélène Darroze.

Highlighting some of his favourite products from around the UK and France, including Fine de Claire oysters and Brittany pigeon, Alex’s Carousel menu de courte durée (just two short weeks) reveals a new side to his repertoire, showcasing a love and deep respect for classic bistro cookery and a lifelong obsession with really great food.
