 Perched on the tranquil Es Figueral beach in northern Ibiza, Nudo has become one of the hottest culinary destinations in the Balearics, and for good reason. Helmed by our good friends Edo Fiaschi, José Conde and Jessica Natali — who honed their craft together at Noma — Nudo celebrates bold Mediterranean seafood with global influences. Think ‘Raw Scallop, Mangalitza Lard, Shoyu, Guajillo’; ‘Prawn Tortello, Light Dashi, Ginger Oil, Cockles’; and ‘BBQ Cured Monkfish Tail, Beurre Blanc, Kombu Oil, Spinach.’ To kick off 2025, they’re bringing the essence of Ibiza’s coastline back to Charlotte Street with an unmissable two-and-a-bit-week residency. On the floor, sommelier Loli (Bar Brutal, Atila Tulum, Casa Lhasa) will set the tone, pouring a selection of her Supernatural Wines exclusively from the Balearics. Say goodbye to winter blues and hello to Balearic vibes, no passport required.

 Safe to say, our festive prix fixe lunch menu is hitting all the right notes. No turkey or stuffing here – think roast duck, brown crab rice, or chestnut & celeriac agnolotti. For us, that’s what festive food is all about. You’ve got two weeks left to try it, with the last Wine Bar service of the year on Saturday 21st December. A few weeks back, we celebrated Carousel’s 10th birthday with a party to remember. We invited some of our favourite industry folk, friends, and alumni for a night of great food, killer drinks, and all the good vibes. It was a chance to reflect on how far we’ve come—thanks to the amazing people who support us, the incredible network of suppliers we rely on, and the team that keeps this whole crazy thing going. Here’s to the next 10! Huge thanks as well to our friends at @thelostexplorer for keeping the mezcal flowing all night…

A few weeks back, we celebrated Carousel’s 10th

@julielincooks returns to Charlotte Street just in time for Christmas, with another celebratory menu of vibrant Chinese-Malay showstoppers, inspired by the Nyonya flavours of her childhood. As her award-winning smash-hit, @gaga.glasgow, continues to go from strength to strength, Julie has been busy penning her hotly anticipated cookbook Sama Sama (literally, ‘you’re welcome’), which hits the shelves next year. Honed at cult pop-up Julie’s Kopitiam, her infectious agak-agak style is all about cooking with soul and creating accessible dishes with explosive flavours like ‘fried chicken, Sichuan hot sauce, orange zest’; ‘pink kerabu noodle salad, samphire, peanuts’; ‘spiced ground sausage, crab claw meat, summer greens’; and ‘Kaya Croissant-and-Butter Pudding’ (if you still have room). In the words of the Michelin Guide, GaGa is “lively, delicious and great value [with] all the ingredients for a fun night out”. We couldn’t put it better ourselves. See you there.

This is the dessert dreams are made of. Meet ‘bonet,’ a Piedmont classic reimagined by @olivia_cavalli. Chocolate and amaretti flan, topped with caramel and crowned with a perfectly chewy amaretti biscuit. Olivia’s residency wraps up this Saturday, don’t miss out.

 Our festive prix fixe is here. Unlike our usual bi-weekly menu rotation, this one’s here to stay until the big day (it’s just too good to change). Think three courses of seasonal magic like ‘beef tartare, black garlic, shoestring fries’; ‘roast duck, beetroot mole, smoked maitake’; and ‘crème caramel, vin jaune poached quince.’ Feeling nice? We’ll even throw in a burnt butter financier. All of that for £35. Book in between 12-3, Tuesday to Friday, from now until Christmas.

As part of our ten-year anniversary celebrations, design studio Relative Distance brings a month of moonlight to Carousel. Phase is a limited edition lunar light which, correct to the night’s sky, illuminates in sync with the moon.
