Shuttlecock INC. Business Development Manager

ABOUT YOU

We’re on the lookout for an absolute boss of a business development manager. Someone who will add tenacity, drive and business smarts to the creativity, energy and leftfield thinking that make Shuttlecock Inc. so unique. You’ll be responsible for getting our name out there as the goto creative production company for forward-thinking brands looking to do something bold, exciting and immersive. You will take a proactive approach to seeking out new opportunities, identifying potential partners and introducing them to the next level experiential awesomeness that we already deliver on the regular for the likes of Glossier, Grey Goose, Wagamama, Tabasco, Mr & Mrs Smith and Visit California.

We’re an independent creative production company founded on the belief that with a little bit of humour and imagination, you can bring even the dullest brief to life. We’re good at lots of things but what we really excel at are top-notch food and drink, jaw-dropping theatrical sets, irreverent immersive theatre and creative soundscapes. Key Responsibilities

. Get Shuttlecock’s name out there and on the lips of any brand looking to do something bold, exciting and immersive. We want you to be the ambassador for what we do and what we believe in.
. Generate and develop new leads for Shuttlecock. Proactively seek new opportunities,acquire new customers and create awareness of the company’s services.
. Create an extensive database of potential clients.
. Nurture and develop the relationships with current clients so that we are their preferred production team and are regularly doing events with them.
. Work to agreed personal, as well as team, KPIs and targets
. Work with the marketing team to create the tools and collateral needed to approachnew businesses, clients and encourage cross sale with current clients.
. Competitor research, analysis and reports
. Creating reports to provide Directors with accurate, current leads information on aweekly basis
. Building bespoke pitches for briefs you have won
. Present pitches to clients

. You’ll be ready to work in a small team a play a key support role in getting us closer to our company targets (BHAG).
. Results driven and motivated to work to grown and develop the business
. Creative advocate who understands the creative process and strives to maintain creative integrity
. Highly organized, and results driven, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise within a dynamic environment
. You’ll be reporting to the Director of Shuttlecock, you will be very hands-on and at the sharp end of this very entrepreneurial company
. Ability to build relationships with partners and clients and work in their best interests
. Little black book of relevant contacts and potential clients within the industry
. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
. Comfortable with creating in depth reports
. Confident and friendly manner in all forms of communication
. Energetic and can-do attitude
. Creative flair
. Ability to work autonomously on projects as well as with other members of the Shuttlecock team
. Strong problem solving skills

Past experience

. Experience of working in a proactive sales role for a creative company
. Proven track record and experience of delivering confident sales pitches
. Proven track record for closing sales and hitting targets
