The guys behind Cult Vinegar are coming to Carousel for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn about the process of making vinegar in small batches. These delicious vinegars are not only a fab way to reduce wine waste but their probiotic nature come with a whole host of health benefits – so it’s a no brainer, we all need to get vinegar-making.
You’ll get to try a series of interesting wine based vinegars from a Ruby Port to an Oloroso Sherry and the starter vinegar means you can transform any of your favourite wines at home into a delicious vinegar - waste not want not! Aside from learning this ancient recycling method, you’ll also be shown the best tips and tricks on using your creations for different types of dressings and sauces. Enjoy the experience alongside a lovely glass of wine with the experts on hand to answer any burning questions on the subject.
Billy’s beautiful ceramic vases will be available for you to purchase on the day so you can continue your vinegar-making journey at home. You’ll go home with the skill set to begin fermenting at home, as well as your own bottle of Cult Vinegar to start using on your favourite foods.
